Night Shift Warehouse Operator Location: Coppice, Blackmill, CF35 6EQ Salary: £15.96 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm – 6:00am Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Night Shift Warehouse Operator to join our team. Working in a busy warehouse environment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong safety mindset are essential. What You’ll Be Doing • Safely store and move finished goods within the warehouse • Operate forklift trucks and material handling equipment • Prepare and organise loading areas in line with schedules • Load vehicles and ensure goods are ready for dispatch • Carry out stock checks and support inventory accuracy • Complete all documentation accurately and on time • Identify and report any product damage or quality issues • Perform daily equipment checks and report faults • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment • Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support operations • Support continuous improvement activities across the site Health, Safety & Standards • Follow all HSE requirements and safe working practices • Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with BRC guidelines • Complete hazard tags and report any risks or concerns • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures About You Essential Requirements • Valid forklift licence • Full UK driving licence • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices • Strong communication skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Good time management and organisational skills • Flexible and proactive approach to work Desirable • LEAN / Six Sigma (Green Belt) • IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification • Mechanical or engineering environment experience What’s in It for You • Competitive hourly rate of £15.96 • Stable Monday–Friday night shift (no weekends) • Opportunity to work in a supportive, team-focused environment • Ongoing development and continuous improvement culture Additional Information You may be required to support other areas of the business as needed in line with operational requirements.
