Nursery Deputy Manager

Marylebone Services are looking for a full time, permanent, room-based Deputy Manager to join a unique childcare setting where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace through play, discovery and meaningful relationships. * Role: Nursery Deputy Manager * Location: Stonebridge/Harlesden, London * Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40hours/week * Salary: £ 36,000 – £42,000 DOE * Start date: ASAP Benefits: * 28 days of annual leave including Bank Holidays * Workwear allowance – uniform top and fleece is provided plus an annual contribution of £100 to put towards black trousers and black shoes * Lunch – a nutritional meal provided every day * Childcare discount – 45% discount on your childcare fee if you would like your baby to join the nursery * Regular opportunities for personal, and professional development with career progression including access to paid CPD-certified course As a Deputy Manager you will be tasked with: * You will role model and promote the setting’s philosophy and ethos * You will bring your energy and creativity to the role * You will be the children’s guide and encourage child-led, play-based learning * You will support the Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and compliance with EYFS framework * You will lead a team of professional workers and ensure good practice at all times What we are looking for in our ideal Deputy Manager: * A minimum of Early Years Level 3 qualification is essential * Previous Key working experience (Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, or Room Leader) in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting in the UK * Management Qualification * Essential training: Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene * Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Computer Literate ***Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK at the time of the application.
