Site Engineer

Site / Project Engineer – Long-Term Freelance Opportunity I’m currently assisting a well-established Developer with their search for a Site / Project Engineer to join their team on a long-term freelance basis. The role will be site-based and will primarily involve working on the RC Frame, with a strong focus on setting out, gridlines and ensuring works are delivered accurately and to programme. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site / Project Engineer looking for a long-term freelance position, with the opportunity to build a strong relationship with a reputable Developer and grow with the business. Key responsibilities: * Setting out gridlines and structural elements * Working closely with the RC Frame contractor * Checking dimensions, levels and coordinates * Ensuring works are set out accurately and in accordance with drawings * Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team * Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records * Supporting the smooth delivery of the project from an engineering perspective The ideal candidate: * Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer * Strong setting out experience * Experience working on RC Frame projects * Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings * Good knowledge of levels, coordinates and gridlines * Able to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams * Reliable and looking for a long-term freelance opportunity This is a long-term freelance position with a good Developer, offering the opportunity to become an integral part of the team and potentially progress as the business continues to grow.
