HGV Class 2 Driver – Doncaster, South Yorkshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire .

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Truck Driver .

Shifts: Monday to Friday 05:00 starts Rates of Pay: £14.75 per hour (basic) £22.13 per hour (after 48 hours) Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 2 Driver will include: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out RDC deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required) Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are correctly secured Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category C driving licence A minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) A valid UK CPC card and digital tachograph card A good level of spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and time-keeping skills A strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: xwzovoh Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training: Driver assessment required prior to starting One-day paid induction following a successful assessment Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
