ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Location: West Glasgow Salary: Up to £47,000 (Inclusive of Flexibility Allowance) Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 07:30 – 16:00) Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industrial manufacturing site in West Glasgow.

This role sits within a hands-on engineering team supporting a physically demanding production environment with large-scale machinery and moving equipment.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will focus on maintaining electrical reliability across site, carrying out fault finding, planned maintenance and supporting breakdown response.

You will be working across a range of equipment including drives, motors and control systems, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.

The role will also involve supporting ongoing improvements and upgrade work across the site, requiring a flexible and proactive approach depending on operational demands.

Sector – Factory Maintenance Heavy industrial manufacturing environment involving large mechanical systems and high-load material handling equipment.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Electrical Engineering Qualification Multi-Skilled Experience FMCG or Heavy Industrial background PLC experience Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Strong electrical fault finding skills Ability to read and understand electrical drawings Experience working on production machinery Knowledge of motors, drives and control systems Ability to work both independently and within a team Strong communication and safe working practices Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems Ability to PLC fault find Physically fit The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from: Monday–Friday day shift pattern Stable long-term engineering team Salary up to £47,400 (Inclusive of Flexibility Allowance) Production based bonus Statutory Holiday Overtime available (dependent on breakdowns / project work) Ongoing investment in machinery and site improvements Christmas shutdown (2 weeks) Bonus scheme If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
