* Start Date: April 2026 Turner Lovell are partnering with a leading international engineering organisation to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-tech production environment supporting critical infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe.
The facility specialises in manufacturing products playing a key role in energy and infrastructure delivery.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong engineering background, someone who is safety-conscious, proactive, and eager to develop their career within a dynamic, highly technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventive maintenance on plant, machinery, and associated systems Respond to reactive maintenance requirements and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, including PLC-controlled equipment Support calibration, testing, and commissioning of production machinery Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders Follow strict health, safety, and environmental procedures Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Requirements Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering (ONC/HNC, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) Proven experience in heavy manufacturing or continuous production environments Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the xwzovoh ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals Knowledge of PLC systems for diagnostics Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermal imaging) Relevant industry tickets (MEWP, forklift) or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification Able to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team This role is ideal for candidates from manufacturing, energy, or industrial engineering backgrounds looking to secure a permanent position within a modern, high-tech production facility supporting critical UK infrastructure.
