Assistant Centre Manager

We are recruiting for the position of Assistant Centre Manager on behalf of a leading UK tyre retailer. This role is based in Banbury, Wiltshire, and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive supervisor seeking career progression within a dynamic and expanding company. Our client, a prominent national tyre retailer with multiple locations across the UK, is seeking to appoint a skilled Assistant Fast-Fit/Tyre Centre Manager. Benefits of the Assistant Centre Manager: Competitive salary of £32,000 to £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience Performance-related bonus approximately £3,600 per year Enhanced holiday entitlement, including additional day for your birthday Optional overtime paid at standard rates In-house training and development programmes Contributory workplace pension scheme Opportunity to work with a leading UK automotive brand 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (with a day off during the week when working Saturdays)Duties of the Assistant Centre Manager: Assist the Centre Manager in daily operational management of the depot Support workshop team with technical vehicle work when required Play a key role in achieving centre performance targets and KPIs Oversee stock levels and ensure proper maintenance of stock values Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure compliance with company policies Lead, motivate, and develop the workshop team as the Assistant Centre Manager Support in maximising sales and controlling operational costs Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with industry regulationsRequirements of the Assistant Centre Manager: Proven supervisory experience within the automotive sector or retail environment Technical knowledge of vehicles and fast-fit equipment Demonstrable leadership skills to manage a team effectively Strong customer service focus and ability to encourage team performance Experience in managing centre sales, costs, and compliance UK driving licence with minimal points Ability to support workshop activities as neededThis role offers an excellent platform for career advancement with a reputable company.
