This is an excellent opportunity for a senior maintenance engineer ready to step into leadership, or an experienced team leader looking for a stable days-based role with no weekend working. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and support a small team of one mechanically biased and one newly qualified engineer. Manage and develop the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme. Prioritise maintenance activities and coordinate engineering resources. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance. Support production teams with engineering solutions. Maintain compliance, documentation and safety standards. Assist with contractor management and site improvement projects. Requirements Essential * Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing * 18th Edition (or willingness to update) * Experience working with electrically controlled equipment. * Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics. * Ability to diagnose faults and resolve electrical failures. * Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance management systems and maintenance records. * Positive attitude with a commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement. * Some leadership or supervisory experience Desirable * PLC fault finding * Panel wiring * Conveyors * 2391 * Packaging experience Benefits Up to £50,000 DOE Days only, no shifts and no weekends Early finish every Friday Lead and develop a small engineering team.
