With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:We are currently looking for a BIM Coordinator to support our growing Energy Transition team, playing a key role in the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects across the energy sector. Acting as the technical hub within the BIM process, you will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing and managing BIM models and associated digital deliverables, ensuring all outputs meet both company and project standards.Working closely with engineers, designers and project stakeholders, you will facilitate collaboration across multiple disciplines within a shared BIM environment, supporting the design, development, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of critical energy infrastructure. The role is central to driving BIM best practice, ensuring efficient information exchange, and supporting the successful delivery of innovative projects that contribute to the energy transition and a more sustainable future.Role accountabilities:Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solutionWork effectively with Global Design colleagues and in accordance with agreed project working arrangementsEnsure the production of project BIM deliverables including models that are accurate, clear and concise, compliant with Arcadis standards, best practice and any other standards dictated by the nature of the projectEnsure compliance with Arcadis BIM standards and national BIM standardsDeliver work that meet client and Arcadis requirementsProvide modelling guidance to other members of the BIM teamOperate at a level consistent with Eng. Tech statusAssist  with  the coaching and development and the development of capabilities of other BIM practitionersCoordinate the production of BIM deliverablesBuild an understanding of the coordination of all elements of a project and how it ultimately interfaces with the clientSupport the  coordination of  interfaces of technical work including models and drawings with other disciplinesSuccessfully manage, plan, resource and complete assigned BIM modelling work within agreed budget and deadlines Check the models with the objectives and conditionsEnsure compliance with the BIM Execution PlanCheck the different aspect models on consistencyMake proposals for any design adjustments to be made, and discuss and consult with the relevant members of the teamMonitor the implementation of possible adjustments in aspect modelsGenerate graphical or (alfa)numeric output for the benefit of productionControl, monitor and steer the BIM process with the necessary toolsCoach and guide involved employees with the implementation and application of BIMLiaise with the project team, client and consultants to review all BIM models for the project and make any necessary amendmentsQualifications & Experience:Have a qualification in a relevant technical subject including elements of Modelling (HNC/HND or equivalent)Have achieved Engineering Technician status or equivalent through a recognised professional institutionHave substantial (production) experience in design, drafting or engineering and BIM Able to provide input to estimates for the modelling budget and schedule and to oversee technical resources to meet requirements on small to medium sized projectsHave capability to use upwards of 2/3 BIM software programsAble to apply their design experience to the models they produceHave capability to use ICT tools for viewing and coordinating the BIMHave experience in defining BIM outcomes Have experience in setting up and coordinating a BIM Protocol and Execution Plan for a given projectWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
