Behaviour Mentor – PRU Are you a resilient and committed Behaviour Mentor looking to support young people who face significant barriers to learning? Do you have experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours? This Pupil Referral Unit in South Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive and experienced team. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students both in and out of the classroom, providing 1-2-1 and small group support to help them manage behaviour, regulate emotions and re-engage with education. You will build strong, positive relationships and act as a consistent role model, supporting students to make better choices and achieve positive outcomes. This is a rewarding and hands-on role that requires patience, resilience and confidence. Previous experience working with young people with SEMH or SEND needs is essential, ideally as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or Residential Support Worker.
