We are recruiting for multiple Complex Needs Assistants for a school supporting primary age children with severe learning difficulties and complex autism. About the Role
As a Complex Needs Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with a wide range of needs. You will play a vital role in helping children to communicate, regulate their emotions, develop independence and engage in learning. This is a rewarding and hands-on role where no two days are the same:
* Support pupils’ communication, interaction and engagement
*
Help pupils manage their emotions and behaviour in a calm, consistent way
*
Assist with personal care where required
*
Adapt activities to meet individual needs
*
Contribute to a safe, structured and nurturing environment
*
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
