KS2 Intervention Teacher – Full Time
Location: Solihull
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience, in line with Teacher Pay Scale)
About the Role We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic KS2 Intervention Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community in Solihull. This full-time role focuses on delivering targeted academic support across Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6), helping pupils to overcome barriers, close learning gaps, and achieve their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about raising attainment through high-impact intervention, small-group teaching, and tailored one-to-one support.

Deliver targeted intervention sessions in KS2 (Years 3–6)
Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of individuals and small groups
Support pupils in closing attainment gaps in core subjects
Use assessment data effectively to track progress and inform teaching
Build positive relationships to support pupil confidence and engagement
Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environmentWhat We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching within KS2
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective intervention practice
Ability to deliver engaging, targeted support to accelerate progress
Excellent assessment and tracking skills
A caring, resilient, and reflective practitionerSmile Education is committed to safeguarding. All applicants must be able to provide:
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

24 months of references, a minimum of one from school settings
