About the role
Document Controller | London (on-site) | £30,000 - £35,000
An established and reputable organisation is seeking a Document Controller to join its growing document control team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and highly organised individual to play a key role in supporting project teams, ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and well managed across multiple projects.
You will be working closely with senior document control staff and project stakeholders, taking responsibility for document control activities and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage project document stores, ensuring latest revisions are accurately issued and used
Administer common data environments (CDE), document registers, transmittals, and contact databases
Support design approvals and assist project teams with document-related queries
Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure document accuracy, version control, and compliance
Work closely with project and design teams to resolve documentation issues efficiently
Ensure all documentation aligns with internal procedures and industry standards
Skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a document control role, ideally within construction or fit-out
Confident using document control platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Asite, Aconex, or SharePoint
Strong IT, administrative, and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
Package:
£30,000 - £35,000 (per annum)
Monday – Friday, office-based role
Supportive team environment with exposure to a variety of projects
