Fabricator – Aluminium Fabrication St Helens £21.50 per hour inc holiday pay 6–8 Week Contract (Immediate Start) 8–10 Hour Days + Overtime Available Lodge or Travel can be provided We are currently recruiting experienced Fabricators / Workshop Operatives for a busy workshop-based project in St Helens, specialising in the fabrication of aluminium housings and boxes. This is an excellent short-term opportunity offering competitive hourly rates and plenty of hours for the right candidates. Key Responsibilities * Fabrication of aluminium housings and enclosures to specification * Operating workshop machinery including: * Guillotines * Press brakes / folders / bending machines * Use of hand tools for assembly and finishing * Tacking components together ready for coded welders * Reading and working from technical drawings * Ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy * Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Requirements * Proven experience in fabrication (aluminium preferred) * Experience operating guillotines, press brakes, or similar machinery * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship * Reliable and able to work to deadlines What's on Offer * Competitive rate of £21.50 per hour * Long working days (8–10 hours) with overtime available * Immediate start * Short-term contract with potential for extension depending on workload
