Credit Controller Assistant

The Credit Controller Assistant will support the Accounting & Finance department in ensuring timely and efficient debt recovery processes within the professional services industry. Description Assist in monitoring and managing client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices. Support the preparation and distribution of client statements and reminders. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner. Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing queries and disputes. Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment agreements. Assist in preparing regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasts. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all credit control activities. Provide administrative support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.Profile A successful Credit Controller Assistant should have: Previous experience or knowledge of credit control or similar financial operations. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams. A proactive approach to problem-solving and handling account discrepancies. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £36,000 per annum.
