About the role

A client of ours in the Benfleet area are recruiting an Administrator (MIS & Bursary Support) to join their team. This is a temporary position starting ASAP until 31st July 2026, working Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm and paying £14 - £16 per hour depending on experience. Your key duties in this Administrator role will include but are not limited to: Supporting the day-to-day processing of bursary applications, including logging, eligibility checks, and communication with students Maintaining accurate records of bursary awards in line with internal policies and funding criteria Liaising with Finance and Student Services to ensure timely payments and resolve queries Assisting with reports on bursary uptake, expenditure, and impact Supporting data protection processes, including maintaining records and assisting with Subject Access Requests Providing general administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and minute-taking Assisting with MIS-related tasks in line with departmental prioritiesSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role: Previous experience in MIS Administration desirable Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital filing systems Excellent communication and organisational skills Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles (GDPR knowledge desirable) A proactive approach with the ability to manage a varied workloadIf you feel like you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this Administrator position, please apply with your CV and Laura will be in touch. #accountsjobs
