Job Title: Labourer Location: Bishop's Stortford Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time / Temporary (with potential for ongoing work) Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a busy construction site in Bishop’s Stortford. The role involves supporting tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness, and assisting with general building tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities • Assisting skilled tradespeople on site (carpenters, bricklayers, etc.) • Loading and unloading materials and equipment • Keeping the site clean, organised, and safe • Moving materials and tools around the site • Basic manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying • Following instructions from site supervisors and managers • Adhering to all health and safety regulations • Assisting with site setup and clear-down Requirements • Previous labouring or construction site experience preferred • Valid CSCS card (essential) • Good level of physical fitness • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to work well in a team • Basic understanding of health and safety on site Desirable (Not Essential) • Driving licence
