Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer Location: Hartlepool Salary: Circa £42,000 - £44,000 PA Benefits: * Competitive salary with overtime available * Company benefits package * Opportunities for progression within a growing organisation The Company: A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a successful and expanding manufacturer, specialising within the chemical industry. This leading organisation is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with strong manufacturing experience to join their team. Working Hours: Day Shift, Monday to Friday Job Description: The Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and systems within a fast-paced FMCG / heavy industry environment. You will need to be time-served, ideally with experience in heavy industry or chemical environments, and confident working under pressure. Key Responsibilities: * Repairing low voltage (24v) motors and machines * Working with rotating machinery * Handa on with hydraulics, pneumatics * Reactive fault finding upon machinery * Gear boxes, pumps and valves * PLC and fault finding * Ensuring all control systems are updated Skills & Experience Required: * Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering role * Strong manufacturing background * Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent * Experience within the chemical or heavy industry preferred * Electrically / mechanical biased background preferred Why Should You Apply? * Excellent opportunity to join a company that offers clear routes for career progression * Competitive salary with overtime and benefits package * Be part of a positive, supportive, and growing team environment
