The Sales & Reservations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both revenue generation and guest booking operations. This role ensures seamless coordination between Sales, Reservations, Front Office, and Events teams, managing group and corporate bookings, supporting business development activities, and delivering excellent customer service to maximise occupancy and revenue

Your role
As our Sales & Reservations Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences from the very first enquiry. Supporting the Business Development Manager, you will act as the vital link between sales, reservations, and hotel operations, ensuring every booking journey is seamless, professional, and personalised. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and commercially minded hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Managing room reservations, group bookings, and corporate enquiries across phone, email, and online booking channels
•Preparing proposals, contracts, presentations, and corporate agreements to support sales activity
•Coordinating rooming lists, booking links, amendments, cancellations, and special requests with accuracy and efficiency
•Supporting lead generation and following up on enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities
•Maintaining CRM systems, booking platforms, and sales databases with up-to-date and accurate information
•Coordinating client meetings, hotel show rounds, and site inspections
•Assisting with proforma invoices, payment tracking, and group contract administration
•Working closely with Front Office, Revenue, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless booking delivery and guest satisfaction
•Supporting promotional campaigns, corporate accounts, and group sales initiatives
•Identifying upselling opportunities to maximise room and hotel revenue
•Monitoring availability and assisting with revenue management strategies where required
•Producing weekly and monthly sales and reservations reports for management review
•Delivering exceptional customer service to corporate clients, travel agents, and guests at every stage of the booking process
The core skills and experience required to succeed:
• Previous experience within hotel reservations, sales support, front office, or hospitality operations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative and booking processes
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and hotel systems such as Opera, PMS platforms, and online extranets
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of group bookings, corporate accounts, and revenue opportunities
• A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
• Knowledge of the local market and wider hospitality industry would be advantageous
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
