We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Housing Scheme Officer (Later Living) to join our Specialist Housing team, supporting older adults living within Hyde's later living schemes.
This is a rewarding role at the heart of our communities, ensuring residents live in safe, well-managed, and supportive environments that promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will be the trusted on-site presence across our schemes, combining housing management expertise with a strong customer focus to deliver high-quality services and positive outcomes for our customers.
What you'll be doing
Undertake regular inspections of communal areas, identifying repairs, hazards, and maintenance requirements to ensure safe, well-maintained environments
Manage lettings processes including viewings, sign-ups, tenancy onboarding, and customer inductions, ensuring a smooth customer journey
Act as first point of contact for tenancy management issues, including ASB, neighbour disputes, and service enquiries, escalating where necessary
Build strong, trusted relationships with residents through proactive wellbeing visits, engagement, and ongoing communication
Coordinate communal services such as cleaning, repairs, grounds maintenance, and contractor activity, ensuring high service standards
Lead resident engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and community activities, promoting independence, inclusion, and digital access
Carry out statutory health & safety, fire safety, and compliance checks, ensuring accurate records, contractor performance, and policy adherence
