This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to play a key role in shaping the financial structure of a newly acquired business and supporting its integration into a larger, established group. The Opportunity This is not a business as usual role. Youll be at the heart of a live acquisition, taking ownership of financial processes, implementing structure, and helping to bring clarity and control during a period of change.
You will: Support the business through a key acquisition and integration phase Build and implement robust financial processes and reporting frameworks Deliver meaningful insights to support commercial decision-making Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Group Financial Controller and operational leadership
Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on accounting support throughout the acquisition process Establish weekly sales and margin reporting aligned to group standards Prepare and develop monthly management accounts, including KPI reporting Implement and improve month-end close processes (journals, accruals, prepayments, cut-off) Review and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures Collaborate with on-site teams to embed best practice and improve processes Support the integration of the acquired entity into group reporting
About You Experienced Management Accountant (or similar) with strong technical grounding ACCA / CIMA qualified preferred, but strong QBE candidates with relevant experience will absolutely be considered Proven experience implementing processes and improving reporting structures Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, or fast-paced environments xwzovoh is highly advantageous Confident working in a hands-on, evolving business Strong communicator, able to build relationships across finance and operations Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is beneficial
