Location -Children 1st Newark Nursery School by Storal

Address -Muskham Road, Newark NG24 1DP

Salary -£12.90ph - £13.30ph salary will depend on experience and qualification

Hours -40 hours, Monday and Friday or 16 - 24 hours over 2 or 3 days

Qualification- Level 2 or above in Childcare

Hi, I’m Sophie, the Nursery Manager at Newark Nursery.

With 10 years of experience in early years education, I began my career as an apprentice and have proudly managed our nursery for the past 6 years. I feel incredibly lucky to lead such a dedicated and passionate team who ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive in our care.

Our nursery is a true home-from-home, with warm, welcoming spaces filled with natural resources that ignite curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Outside, our large garden is a hub of adventure and imagination—featuring a fort, castle, and digger world, offering endless opportunities for play and discovery.

With spacious, thoughtfully designed environments, we provide the perfect setting for children to learn, play, and flourish every day

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

·         An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3

·         Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings

·         Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
