If you have a background as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager, apply now for an immediate response The Job You’ll Do; * Oversee a range of engineering activities including fault diagnostics, breakdown cover, equipment installation and general maintenance of all plant and equipment to ensure optimum efficiency. * Attend planning meetings to submit PPM schedules. * Liaise with operations for start-up requirements and ensure that PPM takes place as planned and agreed. * Participate in necessary on-site audit processes. * Compliance to company policies, standard operating procedures and legal regulations. * Ensure accurate documentation of all necessary engineering records and reporting is maintained. * Champion Health & Safety on-site ensuring a safe working environment * Participate in the H&S meetings and support in leading Safety across the site * Reporting of hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses, ensuring that all related actions are implemented across site in a timely manner. * Management and control of contractors for all on-site activity. * Ensure following a fair non bias tender process when reviewing contractors to assign 3rd party tasks. * To build a united team with first-class team capability. About You; * Proven experience as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager or in a similar leadership role. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent health and safety qualification. * Experience developing and implementing safety rules or operational policies. * Professional interest, and enthusiasm for policy implementation and change management. * Experience managing direct reports, and subcontracted resources. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent written skills * Financial management skills and commercial awareness * Strong technical knowledge and an aptitude for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
