Location: Mundesley, Norfolk
Salary: £29,071 £29,482 per annum (depending on qualifications)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
The Role
Eleven 11 Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Childrens Residential Support Worker for a specialist residential service in Mundesley.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people within a residential care setting, helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where they can grow, build independence, and achieve positive outcomes.
You will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to young people who may have experienced trauma and require additional emotional and behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in a residential setting
Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent role model
Support young people in developing life skills, independence, and confidence
Encourage participation in new experiences and activities
Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to deliver care plans
Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviours
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
Passionate about supporting young people
Resilient, patient, and emotionally intelligent
Strong team players with a proactive approach
Confident in managing challenging situations
Committed to personal and professional development
Experience in residential childcare or a similar setting is desirable. xwzovoh
A full, valid manual driving licence is essential, and you must be willing to work shifts, including sleep-ins and waking nights as required.
Training & Development
Opportunity to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (fully funded) within the first 24 months
Ongoing training and professional development support
Salary & Hours
Full-time: 38 hours per week
Includes a combination of shifts, sleep-ins, and waking nights
Sleep-ins paid at £64.95 per night (typically 5 per month)
Basic salary range: £25,174 £25,585 (excluding sleep-ins)
