Field Service Engineer Location: Yorkshire (Field-Based) Job Type: Permanent Salary: £16.50 per hour (rising to £17.50 after 6-month probation) Hours: Monday to Friday (Overtime Available) About the Role We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a growing service team covering the Yorkshire region. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites. This opportunity is ideal for engineers with a strong multi-skilled background who enjoy working independently in the field and delivering high levels of customer service. Key Responsibilities * Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on-site * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions * Deliver high levels of customer service while representing the business * Complete job reports and documentation accurately * Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards * Manage your own workload and schedule effectively across the Yorkshire area What We’re Looking For * Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge (essential) * Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role * Ability to fault-find and problem solve independently * Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach * Full UK driving licence * Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously What’s on Offer * £16.50 per hour, rising to £17.50 after successful probation * Company van provided * Mobile phone and laptop * Monday to Friday working pattern * Overtime available * Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing business
