Job Title: Science Teacher Location: Sheffield Salary: Up to £220 per day Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day Start Date: Immediate GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to work across a number of secondary schools in Sheffield, delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics and supporting students in building strong scientific understanding. About the Role: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students are engaged, challenged and supported throughout their learning. You will also play a key role in maintaining practical safety during experiments and supporting student progress across all ability levels. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) Plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons Manage classroom behaviour effectively Conduct practical experiments safely and in line with school policy Assess and track student progress Support students across a range of abilities Contribute to a positive and focused learning environment Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge across Science disciplines Confident classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons Professional, reliable and adaptable approach This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacher in Sheffield to join supportive school environments and make a real impact on student progress and achievement in Science.
