Are you a compassionate and understanding carer looking to make a real difference in someones life?
At MCS Healthcare , we are looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to support a young client living at home with their family in Radstock. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred care to an adolescent with a learning disability and epilepsy.
About the Role You will be supporting a young person who lives in a loving family home and has complex clinical needs, including a tracheostomy, BiPAP therapy, and gastrostomy care. The client requires reassurance, structure, and consistent support, particularly during the night.
Providing attentive clinical care, building trust, offering reassurance, and responding in a calm, safe, and supportive manner is essential to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
This role is not just about care tasksits about building a positive relationship, promoting a sense of safety, and supporting the client to feel comfortable in their own home.

What Youll Be Doing
Providing compassionate personal and emotional support
Delivering high-quality tracheostomy care
Supporting with BiPAP therapy
Assisting with catheter care
Managing and caring for gastrostomy needs
Supporting with seizures and epilepsy, ensuring safe and effective management

What Were Looking For At least 1 year of care experience

A caring and professional approach

Willingness to learn and follow care plans

Experience in learning disabilities or similar settings (preferred)
