Pay rate: £12.71 per hour & Sleep ins £9.50 per hour
Shift pattern: 30 hours per week
Weekdays:06:30am 18:45pm / 20:45pm 06:30am
Weekends: 07:00am 18:00pm / 21:00pm 07:00am
Were seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred care within a family home in Rotherham.
Youll be supporting an individual with a spinal injury but their condition is only one part of who they are. Theyre someone with their own interests, routines and goals, and they also share their home with a friendly dog.
Your role will focus on empowering them to live as independently and fully as possible, offering both essential daily care and support with meaningful, enjoyable activities that enrich their life.
What youll be doing
As a Support Worker, youll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:
Providing high-quality support on a 1 :1 basis
Completing bowel care in line with established routines and training
Supporting catheter care safely and confidently as part of daily care needs
Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
Encouraging social interaction and promotingemotionalwellbeing
Supportingcommunication in the way that works best for them
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
What youll bring
