Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare) Location: Chelmsford Company: TeacherActive Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent Job Description TeacherActive is currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners to work in a variety of well-established and supportive nurseries across Chelmsford. This role is ideal for qualified childcare professionals looking for flexible work or a long-term position within early years education. You will play a key role in supporting children’s development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting children aged 0–5 in their early learning journey, helping to create stimulating activities that promote development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with other staff members to ensure each child receives the care, attention, and encouragement they need to thrive. You will also be expected to contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive nursery environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore and learn through play.
