OT Cyber Security Engineer

Cyber Security OT Engineer 📍 Suffolk (1-2 days per week on-site) Overview We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security OT Engineer to support and secure critical operational technology environments. You'll work across infrastructure, networks, and security tooling to ensure resilience, compliance, and protection against cyber threats in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain OT security infrastructure (firewalls, SIEM, PAM, IDS, endpoint security) Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents and problems Implement changes in line with strict change control processes Support OT security projects and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with cyber incident response and recovery activities Work with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance security posture Contribute to security testing, risk mitigation, and compliance (e.g. NIS regulations) Provide input into network security design across WAN/LAN and OT environmentsExperience Required ~5+ years in Cyber Security or Networking (ideally within OT / industrial environments) Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and routing Experience with SIEM, monitoring, and incident response Understanding of OT/SCADA environments and industrial protocols is beneficial Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NCSC, ISO27001, IEC 62443) Experience with tools such as Fortinet, Cisco ISE, or similar Knowledge of Windows/Linux security and virtualised environments Scripting (PowerShell/Python) desirableAdditional Info Must be eligible for UK security clearance (SC) Strong stakeholder communication skills requiredIf interested, please APPLY and a consultant will be in touch asap.
