Class 2 Hiab Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver with Hiab Location: Surbiton, Surrey Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum About the Role: We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with Hiab to join a well-established supplier of roofing and building materials. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Surbiton, Surrey. Key Responsibilities: Delivery and Collection: Safely transport roofing materials and related products to and from customer and supplier sites, using both mechanical and manual loading/unloading methods. Site Clearance: Remove second-hand materials and rubbish from customer sites as required. Loading and Unloading: Handle loading and unloading of vehicles, including customer and supplier deliveries. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with any queries or requirements in a professional manner. Vehicle Maintenance: Carry out daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle, and ensure all statutory records are up-to-date. Working Hours: Mon-Thurs: 07:30 - 16:30 Fri: 07:00 - 16:00 Saturdays: One Saturday on, one Saturday off – 07:30 - 10:30 Requirements: Essential: HGV Class 2 Licence Valid Hiab Certification Previous experience with a Hook or Grab (minimum 1 year preferred) Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach Ability to comply with health and safety regulations Desirable: Previous experience in the roofing or construction industry Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a busy environment Benefits: Competitive Salary – £38,000 - £42,000 per annum 28 Days Holiday Life Assurance & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Cyclescheme Long Service Awards How to Apply: To apply, please email your CV and cover letter to or call (phone number removed) for more information.
