£50,000 £62,000 per annum
Full-Time | Permanent | 12 Month fixed term contract
We are recruiting for two experienced Registered Managers to lead newly opening childrens residential homes in Croydon and Streatham.
These are exciting opportunities to join a growing care provider supporting children aged 617 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in therapeutic, trauma-informed environments.
The homes include:
1 solo placement home
1 two-bedded home
Both homes are located within South London and are opening as part of an ambitious growth plan.
The Role You will be responsible for opening, leading, and developing a childrens home to deliver outstanding outcomes for young people. Youll lead a dedicated care team, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager already operating at a high level within childrens residential care.
Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day running of a childrens residential home
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes Regulations
Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices
Lead, mentor, and develop residential staff teams
Manage safeguarding, care planning, and risk assessments
Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
Drive positive Ofsted outcomes and continuous improvement
Support the development and growth of future services
Requirements Minimum 23 years experience within a childrens residential home
Current or recent experience as a xwzovoh Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in childrens residential care
Proven experience working with EBD young people
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and inspections
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Croydon/South London
