*The Role*
We are looking for a skilled *Refrigeration Engineer* to join our dedicated service team. This is a varied role that offers a balance of working on-site with customers and supporting operations at our Ulverston headquarters.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Technical Support:* Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of commercial refrigeration and electrical catering equipment.
* *Field Work:* Respond to emergency call-outs and conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
* *Customer Relations:* Act as a professional face of the company, liaising with clients on-site to explain repairs and provide advice.
* *Internal Support:* Provide technical guidance over the phone and collaborate with our in-house service and logistics teams.
* *Compliance:* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards, following site-specific RAMS and general Health & Safety protocols.
*Requirements*
To be successful in this role, you must be a technically proficient engineer with a customer-first mindset.
*Mandatory Qualifications:*
* *F-GAS Certified* (Category 1).
* *City & Guilds 2079* Qualified.
*Core Skills:*
* Proven experience in commercial refrigeration and/or electrical catering equipment.
* Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills for phone queries and face-to-face customer service.
* A valid UK driving license.
