SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Sheffield Pay: As par scale  Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-established school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback Requirements Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting) A patient, caring, and proactive approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UK Desirable Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support Experience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs Knowledge of safeguarding procedures Experience working within UK schools What We Offer Competitive pay rates Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Access to CPD and training opportunities Opportunity for long-term or permanent roles All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
