Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Oxford, delivering the earthworks package on a large-scale infrastructure scheme. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable engineer looking for an immediate start on a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities * Setting out for earthworks and highways activities * QA, as-built surveys, and maintaining accurate site records * Managing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications * Working closely with site management and subcontractors * Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme * Conducting volume calculations and surveying duties * Supporting daily site operations and progress reporting * Liaising with the client and project team as required Requirements * Previous experience working on highways and earthworks projects * Strong setting out experience using GPS and robotic instruments * CSCS card essential * SMSTS or SSSTS preferred * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Good communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence preferred Package * £300 – £400 per day depending on experience * Long-term project opportunity * Immediate start available * Major infrastructure scheme To apply, please send your CV or get in touch for further details
