SEND Teacher Location: Walthamstow, London, E17 Contract: Full‑time, Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Interview Dates: Starting in two weeks About the School and Trust This specialist SEND trust is expanding and is opening a new site in Walthamstow, creating exciting opportunities for passionate teachers to join the team at a key growth stage. The provision supports children and young people with a range of additional needs including SEMH and associated learning differences. The school offers a calm, structured and nurturing environment focused on high‑quality teaching, therapeutic support and personalised learning pathways. Purpose‑built facilities and strong local transport links support both staff and pupils. As the trust continues to grow, interviews will be taking place soon to support staff appointments for the new site and the September intake. The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher with QTS to join a supportive multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a teacher who is motivated by inclusive practice and wants to be part of a developing provision where your input will help shape the culture and success of a new site. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND Adapt curriculum delivery to support academic progress and emotional development Create a positive, safe and structured classroom environment Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues Monitor progress and use assessment to inform teaching strategies Work collaboratively with pastoral and therapeutic staff Contribute to wider school development as the new site opens About You We are looking for someone who has: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with SEND and or SEMH pupils or a strong desire to specialise Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills A calm, resilient and reflective teaching approach Commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing Enthusiasm for joining a growing trust at an exciting stage What We Offer The opportunity to join a trust opening a brand‑new site A supportive and collaborative team culture Ongoing professional development and SEND‑specific training Strong leadership and clear career progression pathways A rewarding role where your impact is meaningful and visibleIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply today or call (phone number removed) for more information.
