Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant

Management Accountant - Torbay Your new company You’ll be joining a growing business operating in a modern, fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment. This is a hands-on Company Accountant role, taking full ownership of the day-to-day finance function and working closely with senior leadership. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial processes, while also providing meaningful management information to support strategic decisions. Managing the day-to-day finance function using Xero Preparing monthly management accounts with clear commentary Overseeing purchase ledger and sales ledger activities Completing regular bank reconciliations Providing financial analysis to support commercial and operational decisions Identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance function Proven experience as a Company Accountant or Management Accountant Strong working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Excel A solid understanding of UK accounting standards and VAT A salary from £40,000 per annum, depending on experience A full-time, permanent position based locally Company pension and on-site parking A supportive, modern working environment suited to someone proactive and hands-on
