HGV Class 2 Driver

Staff Solutions UK Ltd is recruiting for professional Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Hoddesdon, Herts.

Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.

This work is offered on a temp
- perm basis, meaning that you will work through us for the first 12 weeks and then become permanent.

Please note that manual handling is required for this work so you will need to be physically fit.

You will be delivering food to well-known restaurant chains; you can expect approximately 4 8 drops per shift.

Before starting this work, you will be required to complete a telephone interview, followed by a driving assessment, and then an induction if you successfully pass the assessment.

Start times will be between and shifts will be approximately 10 hours.

You will work 4 days out of 7, this will be on one of two shifts as follows: Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday OR Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.

You will always be off on a Sunday.

To be considered for the above you will need the following: A valid licence with no more than 6 points A digital Tacho.

CPC/Driver Qualification Card Recent UK Class 2 driving experience Be available to start at the required start times Good knowledge of London and the Home Counties.

The rate of pay is £20.50 per hour, paid weekly.

Once you become permanent you can expect an annual salary of £49,200.
