Forklift / POEP Operator – £13.34 to £16.68 per hour Location: Chilled Warehouse Environment Shifts: Various shifts available Pay: £13.34 – £16.68 per hour (role & shift dependent) Are you an experienced Forklift / POEP Operator looking for a long‑term role with great earning potential? What You’ll Be Doing Supplying and removing product, customer equipment, and waste from the production line Operating a forklift/POEP safely and confidently Loading, unloading, and transporting produce across warehouse and production areas Inspecting pallets, trays, and produce for damage or quality issues Following FIFO stock rotation procedures Keeping your work area clean and safe at all times Completing pre‑shift vehicle checks and reporting any mechanical issues Working in chilled environments and following all hygiene, PPE, and food‑safety rules Key Responsibilities Efficiency & Accuracy Ensure correct stock, packaging, and labelling are used Maintain high accuracy to reduce waste and downtime Productivity & Planning Follow production plans and report changes to your Team Leader Support Supervisors to keep the department running smoothly Customer Requirements Pack produce to exact customer specifications Supply the line with the correct customer equipment Administration Complete all paperwork accurately and on time Highlight issues to your Team Leader or Supervisor People & Conduct Report disciplinary or conflict issues appropriately Maintain excellent timekeeping and communication Hygiene & Housekeeping Follow the “clean as you go” policy Keep all areas tidy and safe Health & Safety Follow all H&S procedures at all times Report hazards, near misses, and machine faults immediately Keep fire exits clear and complete pre‑start checks correctly What We’re Looking For Valid POEP/Forklift licence – essential Experience in fresh produce, food distribution, or chilled warehousing (preferred) Strong communication skills Ability to prioritise tasks with excellent attention to detail Motivated, energetic, and flexible approach to work Why Join Us?
