CNC Turner

Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established machine workshop in Ayrshire in their search for a CNC Miller. This is a full-time, permanent position working in their state of the art workshop in Prestwick. Working across a 2 shift pattern (early and back shift) with optional overtime available at enhanced rates. Making vital components for the Aerospace industry. What's required? * Time served CNC Machinist or vast expereince working as machinist * Ability to read and interpret technical engineer drawings * Operating, setting and programming * Working to tight tolerances * Low to medium batch work * Proficient with FANUC or Mazak controls beneficial (training provided) * Experience working with Aerospace components advantageous * Working early and back shift * Subcontract machine shop expereince beneficial * Self-inspection of parts produced, resolving non-conformance issues * Working towards continuous improvement methods within the workshop * Doosan lathe expereince benficial Apply now for an immediate interview
