Joinery Designer

Draughtsman / Designer – Joinery Role Overview  Our client is a specialist joinery contractor looking for an experienced Draughtsman / Designer to join their team. This role would suit someone with a strong technical design background and a good understanding of joinery, manufacturing, and site requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and supporting the design process from initial concept through to manufacture and installation. Package Private healthcare Company pension Travel allowance for project visits and meetings where requiredKey Responsibilities Produce detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery projects Work from client briefs, architectural drawings, and site information Prepare drawings for manufacture, approval, and installation Liaise with internal teams, including project managers, workshop staff, and site teams Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and delivered within required timescales Support the wider team with design queries and technical information Attend site visits and meetings where requiredRequirements Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Previous experience within joinery, carpentry, or a similar technical design environment Good understanding of general carpentry and joinery works Strong communication skills Good time management and ability to meet deadlines Able to work well as part of a wider team Full UK driving license
