Primary Teacher

Job Title: Primary Teacher Location: Derby (DE3) Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time Are you a passionate Primary Teacher ready to inspire young learners?Do you have the creativity and dedication to deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum? As a Primary Teacher, you will create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to support pupils across key stages, helping them develop essential academic and social skills. Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum Teach across key stages, supporting pupils’ development in core subjects Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Use a range of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff Build strong relationships with parents and carers What we need from a Primary Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in primary schools is desirable Strong understanding of the primary curriculum Excellent classroom management and organisational skills A creative, adaptable, and engaging teaching approach A genuine passion for supporting young learners An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
