International Binder BrokerLondon | Hybrid | Salary NegotiableAn established independent London Market insurance broker is looking to appoint an experienced International Binder Broker to support the continued expansion of its Delegated Authority division.This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, entrepreneurial business where you'll have the autonomy to develop your portfolio while working closely with an experienced leadership team. The role is open to brokers from a variety of international non-marine product classes, with flexibility around sector specialism for the right individual.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of an international delegated authority portfolio, managing existing binder facilities while identifying opportunities to develop new relationships across overseas markets. Working closely with London Market insurers, MGAs, coverholders and international intermediaries, you'll play a key role in driving the continued growth of the business.Experience across a broad range of international territories is welcomed, with exposure to US Territories considered a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow an international delegated authority (binder) portfolio.
Negotiate and place binder facilities with London Market insurers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, MGAs, coverholders and overseas brokers.
Structure and place delegated authority programmes tailored to client requirements.
Identify opportunities to expand existing facilities and develop new business.
Work closely with internal technical and operational teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Keep up to date with market developments, underwriting appetite and emerging opportunities.

About You
Proven experience placing and managing international delegated authority business within the London Market.
Background in any non-marine class of business.
Strong relationships with London Market insurers and delegated authority underwriters.
Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Comfortable working autonomously within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Experience placing business into, or developing binder relationships across, US Territories would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential.
