Machine Operative (Late Shift)

MACHINE OPERATIVE (Late Shift) EVESHAM £15.90 per hour We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operative to join a small, family run engineering business in Evesham. The role is working Monday to Friday across fixed shifts, 2pm-10:30pm. During training, you will be on the day shift to learn the machines and processes. BENEFITS * Free on-site parking * 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) * Optional overtime * Christmas shut down RESPONSIBILITIES As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for: * Working across a variety of machines within a factory environment. * Setting up machines according to specifications. * Using hand tools and reading gauges. * Ensuring the quality of all products. * Maintaining health and safety standards. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE To be considered for the role of Machine Operative, you must have: * Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, working with metals. * Experience using a variety of hand tools. * A basic level of maths knowledge is essential for converting measurements. * Due to the location, own transport is required. * A good level of English including spoken and written.
