Class 1 HGV Driver

Location: Commerce Way, Walrow Industrial Estate, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 4AG   We are currently looking for Class 1 Trampers to join our highly regarded team based out of our Highbridge depot.   Benefits:   • £15.30 per hour while driving • £14.00 per hour when loading/unloading • £15.30 flat rate after 16:00 on Fridays and weekends • £25.50 per night out + £4.50 daily meal allowance (payable with receipt, 4-5 nights per week) • Driver performance bonus – up to £15 per week, paid quarterly • Workplace pension • Death in Service cover   Requirements:   • Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence • Weekend availability (Saturday run-ins or Sunday run-outs) • Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines • Strong organisational and communication skills • A positive work ethic and professional attitude   Responsibilities:   • Adhering to EU-regulated drivers' hours • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations • Providing excellent customer service • Completing assigned deliveries safely and on time • Using a company smartphone with pre-installed customer apps • Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and clean before departure   About Us:   R T Keedwell Group is a nationwide haulage company, operating from a network of eight depots.
