About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Estimator with a strong background in civil engineering to join a growing team, where you will have opportunties for development. This is a key leadership role where you will take ownership of the estimating function, ensuring high-quality, competitive tenders while driving innovation and continuous improvement across the process. You eill working on 1st princple estimating across civils inclduing rail, water, utilities, energy, etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Successfully lead the estimate production for your allocated workflow.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the tender process.
* Lead and promote a client-focused culture within the estimating function.
* Mentor, lead, and develop junior members of the estimating team.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
The Ideal Candidate
* Typically HNC qualified in Civil Engineering/Rail or possesses 5+ years’ on-site experience.
* Strong IT skills, particularly within the Microsoft Windows Office suite.
* Proven industry experience within civil engineering.
* Demonstrable experience operating at a senior estimating level
Salary: upto £75,000 + allowance/ car and package.
