PE Teacher – Secondary Schools (Qualified Teacher)
Birmingham & Greater Birmingham Areas
£150–£220 per day | Long-term (part-time available)
Smile Education is currently recruiting a qualified PE Teacher to work across secondary schools in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students through physical education while working within supportive and inclusive school environments.
Role Overview
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles, while engaging students of all abilities.
You may also have the opportunity to support extracurricular sports, school teams, and enrichment activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Promote participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and school events
• Support the wider school community and uphold the school ethos
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Specialism in Physical Education
• Proven experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and classroom control
• A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and student development
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
