About the role
Connect Appointments is recruiting a Transport Clerk to join an established logistics business based in Larkhall on a temporary ongoing basis. Our client operates a busy transport and distribution operation, requiring a reliable and organised individual to support the smooth running of daily logistics administration.
Ongoing temporary position
~ Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm
~£14.83 per hour, paid weekly
As a Transport Clerk, your duties will include:
Scheduling and monitoring vehicle routes and delivery times
Processing delivery notes, invoices and consignment documents accurately
Handling incoming and outgoing calls and emails related to transport operations
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulations
To be considered as a Transport Clerk, you will need:
Previous experience in a logistics, transport or administration role
Basic computer literacy including spreadsheets and transport management systems
