The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about visual arts and committed to delivering engaging, innovative lessons that inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities
*
Foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills through a range of media and techniques
*
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
*
Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and extracurricular activities
*
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing
*
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities
Person Specification
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject
*
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*
Ability to motivate and inspire students
*
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
