About the role

A London local authority is seeking an experienced Interim Housing Options Officer to join their team for an initial 3 month period. You will be responsible for delivering statutory homelessness functions, managing live caseloads, and supporting residents at risk of homelessness in line with current legislation. Key Responsibilities: Managing a live caseload of homelessness applications from triage through to decision stage Carrying out assessments and investigations under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 Making and issuing statutory decisions including s184s.
